Winner: Dave McDonough Another comic local to Boston, Dave was budding in the local comedy scene when he took first place at last year's BCF. Dave is currently busy booking gigs at clubs accross the country.
Lifetime Achievment Winner: Carsey-Werner Productions
Founded by Marcy Carsey and Tom Werner in 1981, this company was responsible for some of television’s most well-known sit-coms including The Cosby Show, Grace Under Fire, Roseanne, 3rd Rock From The Sun and That 70’s Show.
Comedian of the Year: Tony V A Boston-area legend, Tony v was well-deserving of this recognition. Along with being a popular headliner at clubs and colleges all over the free world, Tony V has worked with Jay Leno, Dennis Miller, Bobcat Goldthwait, Steven Wright, Adam Sandler and countless other friends and nationally known acts.
2008
Winner: Dwight Slade A comic of more than 20 years, Dwight brought his already honed craft to the 2008 BCF and took home the gold. Settled in Portland, OR, Dwight has been a regular at festivals and competitions around the continent and has appeared on Comedy Central's Premium Blend
President's award, for the continued support of the comedy arts: Vin Di Bona Receiving his education at Emerson College, Vin Di Bona is now known as a successful producer, behind such efforts as America’s Funniest People, America’s Funniest Home Videos and was a pioneer in the realm of reality TV with the creation of Battle of the Network Stars in 1976.
Lifetime Achievment Winner: The Smothers Brothers For the last 50 years, Tom and Dick Smothers have been a household name, entertaining us with their comedic folk music and witty banter. Their late-sixties TV show The Smothers Brothers Comedy Hour put them on the map and introduced us to several stars to be, including Steve Martin, Rob Reiner and Father Guido Sarducci.
2007
Winner--Tommy Savitt After winning the BCF in 2007, Tommy kept his streak rolling into winning the 2008 Seattle International Comedy Competition. In addition, Tommy has devoted much of his time to entertaining our troops overseas.
Comedian of the Year: Lewis Black Lewis Black is a name recognized by people all over the world. Aside from his countless appearances in film and on television, Lewis also has several half-hour and hour long stand-up specials that have helped make his a household name.
Lifetime Achievment Winners: Shelly Berman Shelley Berman began his comedy career in 1957 at a nightclub in Chicago. Since then, Berman has appeared in numerous broadway shows, performed with the famed Second City improve troupe, and has appeared in films including Meet The Fockers, The Best Man and You Don’t Mess With The Zohan.
Lifetime Achievment Winners: Mort Sol Mort Sahl’s iconic career may be most well noted for his groundbreaking stand-up technique in which he began referring to the daily headlines for material
2006
Winner: Dan Boulger At the ripe young age of 20, Dan became the yougest winner of the BCF. Another Boston native, Dan has spread his wings since winning the festival in 2006, including an appearance on Comedy Central's Live At Gotham.
Comedian of the Year: Steven Wright A timeless talent, Steven was recognized at the 2006 BCF as Comedian of the Year, proving to everyone that he was still one of the best comics in the business after more than 30 years!
Lifetime Achievment Winner: Norm Crosby is a comedian sometimes associated with the Borscht Belt, but often seen on television in the 1970s. He is best known for his use of malapropisms, and is often called "The Master of Malaprop." Born in Boston, he was originally half of the nightclub comedy team of Ethan Eichrodt and Norm Crosby. The act was a big draw at Bally's Casino and Hotel in Las Vegas. The duo enjoyed the height of its popularity in the early 1950s. Crosby went solo as a stand-up comedian, adopting a friendly, blue-collar, guy-next-door attitude.
Lifetime Achievment Winner: Bill Dana Many know Bill Dana as "José Jiménez" a popular character he created on the Steve Allen Show in the 1950s and continued to perform throughout the 60s. But Dana has also been a successful writer, author, cartoonist, producer, director, recording artist, inventor and stand-up comedian.

Winner: Ryan Stout Since 2005, Ryan has certainly been getting his face out there, doing several hosting gigs for MTV including MTV Spring Break 2008. Most recently, his half-hour Comedy Central special aired April, 30.
2004
Winner: Tom Cotter Besides winning the 5th Annual BCF, Tom has made appearances on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, The Late Late Show and Last Comic Standing, and has filmed his own hafl-hour special on Comedy Central.

Winner: Robbie Printz Robbie has been seen on Comedy Central, NBC, MTV and A&E. The Improper Bostonian named him Boston's Best Comedy Act in their Best of Boston 2003 issue.

Winner: Paul Nardizzi A Boston-based comic, Paul has made appearances on Late Night with Conan O'Brien, Comedy Central and XM Radio. He has released two books as well as two comedy albums and also has a live performance DVD "Paul Nardizzi-Live from the Comedy Connection"
