2006 Winner Dan Boulger In late 2004, Dan Boulger stormed onto the Boston comedy scene. But not like a hurrican or tornado. Dan came like one of those storms that hits between two and five in the morning, that nobody was aware of. This has left peers and audience members alike asking him "who the hell are you and what have you done with all the phone poles?!" Shortly after his comedic genesis, Dan was given advice by a more experienced comic. He said "Dan, ya have to get up there and tell it like it is. Tell the audience what they're all thinking but are afraid to say." Several weeks later, Dan attended a show that featured one of those "tell 'em like it is comics." Not only did he not enjoy the show, he did not smile for weeks. Vowing to never tell the truth about anything ever, Dan has based his act around his great sums of wealth, that huge fish he caught when nobody eles was around, and that time he brought Angelina Jolie to the prom. www.myspace.com/danboulge |

| | | 2005 Winner Ryan Stout Ryan Stout is a fresh face discovering a jaded world. He is a handsome, twenty two year old Boy Scout who talks about abuse, suicide, and people who secretly cut themselves with sharp objects. Stout finds humor in subjects other comedians are too timid to attack. His exaggerated honesty, delightful insincerity, and cute self-righteousness sell his wickedly witty material. No matter what the topic, this suit clad comic appeals to everyone's sense of logic. And because he understands the need to be universally accepted, he tries to keep swear words out of his act. There is no need for filth. www.ryanstout.net | | | | | | 2004 Winner Tom Cotter If laughter is the best medicine, prepare to be heavily medicated. Tom Cotter's high energy, rapid-fire style of comedy leaves audiences clutching their sides and rolling in the aisles. In the past year alone, Tom filmed his very own half hour special for Comedy Central, was voted "Best Stand-Up" at the Las Vegas Comedy Festival. Recently, he made his first appearance on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" and was featured in "Best Of The Fest" at the Montreal Comedy Festival. Other recent television appearances include Comedy Central’s "Premium Blend," Robert Klein's "New Joke City", and "The Late Late Show with Craig Kilborn." www.tomcotter.com | | | | | | 2003 Winner Shawn Quinn
